FIRST K–8 Programs: Looking Ahead to 2027–2028

The 2026–2027 BIOGLOW season will continue as planned. FIRST is
developing a new generation of K–8 robotics programs for 2027–2028,
and additional information will be shared as it becomes available.

FIRST in Michigan operates a progression of programs which differs from FIRST national. Our model enables students to build upon the skills and experiences attained at one level then flow naturally to the next level without overlap. In Michigan, FIRST Lego League (FLL) is the sole program for elementary school students.
