Every team needs a leader but they also benefit from the help of technical and non-technical mentors from a variety of fields. All skill levels are welcome!

• Technical mentors – Engineers, programmers, machinists, electricians, fabricators, tinkerers and makers.
• Non-technical mentors –  Educators, experience in fields such as marketing, finance, graphic arts, communications, project management.

Volunteer at a FIRST Tech Challenge Event.
FIRST events are staffed entirely by volunteers. Roles include organizers, technical advisors, judges, referees, inspectors, photographers, queuers, MCs and game announcers, AV experts, first aid, etc. Volunteering at an event is a great way to see FIRST up close and personal.
