Every team needs a leader/teacher but they also benefit from mentors such as engineers, programmers, and challenge-specific professionals who can talk to students about their jobs, serve as classroom volunteers, and support what they are doing in the classroom.

FIRST events are staffed entirely by volunteers. Roles include organizers, reviewers, team escorts, and photographers. Volunteering at an event is a great way to see FIRST up close and personal.

FIRST has teams at every level.  Our organization is always looking for passionate volunteers such as team recruiters, website managers, accountants, public relations, grant writers, graphic designers, statisticians, trailer drivers.
