All teams are celebrated and leave with an award.<\/p>\r\n<p>Teams accepting grants from <em>FIRST<\/em> in Michigan, the MDE <i>FIRST<\/i> 99h grant, or sponsor-specific grants are required to participate in one official <i>FIRST<\/i> in Michigan festival during the season.<\/p>\r\n<p>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/firstinmichigan.us\/FLL-Explore\/events\/\"><span style=\"color: #ed1c24;\">EVENTS<\/span><\/a> page of the Michigan FIRST LEGO League Explore website for event information.<\/p>\r\n<p>All Michigan FIRST LEGO League Explore event registration procedures and dates subject to change as needed.<\/p>\r\n<h4><strong>GENERAL INFORMATION<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle\">\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-head\"><i class=\"fa fa-plus\"><\/i>Event registration key points (Read this first!)<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-box hide\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>To attend an event, teams must be:\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Aligned to the <i>FIRST<\/i> in Michigan progression of programs (comprised solely of Michigan early elementary grade team members (K-3).)<\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fully registered for the current <em>FIRST<\/em> LEGO League Explore season<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<li>Each team must have a Lead Coach\/Mentor 1 and 2, who each must have cleared the <em>FIRST<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/resource-library\/youth-protection-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Youth Protection<\/a> screening process before the event.<\/li>\r\n<li><em>FIRST<\/em> LEGO League Explore Official Festival event registration is done at the local level with <em>FIRST<\/em> in Michigan through a Google form, and NOT through the <em>FIRST<\/em> Dashboard. Teams will NOT see their confirmed events on their Team Dashboard, only on the Michigan FLL Explore Team List.<\/li>\r\n<li>The Google form is required to register for an event; no email requests are accepted.<\/li>\r\n<li>Festival hosts will email coaches with event specific information (payment method, directions\/parking, etc.) approximately two weeks prior to the event.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle\">\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-head\"><i class=\"fa fa-plus\"><\/i>Season key dates<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-box hide\">\r\n<p>2026\u20132027 BIOGLOW registration dates<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><strong>Friday, October 16, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Fall festival registration opens (form link posted on this page)<\/li>\r\n<li><strong>Friday, October 23, 2026<\/strong> \u2013 Fall festival registration closes<\/li>\r\n<li>Event assignments will be posted to the Michigan FLL Explore Team List after registration closes.<\/li>\r\n<li>November 2026\u2013February 2027 \u2013 Fall\/winter festivals<\/li>\r\n<li>Spring festival registration details will be announced during the season.<\/li>\r\n<li>April\u2013May 2027 \u2013 Spring festivals<\/li>\r\n<li>Approximately two weeks before your festival \u2013 Event Coordinators email coaches with payment, directions, parking, and other event details.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle\">\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-head\"><i class=\"fa fa-plus\"><\/i>Event fee<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-box hide\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The event fee for Michigan <em>FIRST<\/em> LEGO League Explore festivals is $50 and is paid directly to the event host. It is not paid by any grants, nor was it included in anything paid previously by teams.<\/span><\/div>\r\n<\/div>\r\n<h4><strong>FESTIVAL REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle\">\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-head\"><i class=\"fa fa-plus\"><\/i>Event registration form<\/div>\r\n<div class=\"shortcode-toggle-box hide\">\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>2026\u20132027 BIOGLOW Fall Festival Registration Form\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Registration opens <strong>Friday, October 16, 2026<\/strong>, and closes <strong>Friday, October 23, 2026<\/strong>. The form link will be posted here when registration opens.<\/li>\r\n<li>Additional events may be added after registration is open. If you wish to change your registration choices due to this, please submit a new form and it will replace your previous list of choices.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>The team number, coach\u2019s name, and coach\u2019s email address, will be necessary to complete the Michigan FIRST LEGO League Explore Event Application. This information must match the information on the team\u2019s FIRST account.
