All links are filled in. --><\/p>\n<h2>EVENT READINESS CHECKPOINTS<\/h2>\n<p>A team is \u201cEvent Ready\u201d once it has completed the <em>FIRST<\/em> HQ and <em>FIRST<\/em> in Michigan tasks below. These tasks are required for every team attending a <em>FIRST<\/em> in Michigan FLL Challenge event. In short, teams must have two registered coaches, register all youth team members, and submit a team roster to their Event Coordinator.<\/p>\n<h3>1. <em>FIRST<\/em> HQ Team Required Tasks<\/h3>\n<h4>Lead Coach\/Mentor 1 &amp; 2 tasks<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Team has both a Lead Coach\/Mentor 1 and 2 listed on the Team Dashboard.<\/li>\n<li>Both Lead Coach\/Mentor 1 and 2 have electronically signed their <em>FIRST<\/em> HQ Consent\/Release form (indicated on the individual\u2019s <em>FIRST<\/em> Account).<\/li>\n<li>Both Lead Coach\/Mentor 1 and 2 have completed the <em>FIRST<\/em> Youth Protection background screening and training (indicated on the individual\u2019s <em>FIRST<\/em> Account).<\/li>\n<li>If your team has \u201cNot Event Ready\u201d in the \u201cHQ Event Ready\u201d column of the <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/spreadsheets\/d\/e\/2PACX-1vQZfPif6Zhe1BkjDh4Sv5fZjmIxw9DraXkh7mwyw0ryJPFlAGBm1od0dWzUujpuDyGJAxBh0Ihq9dnJ\/pubhtml?gid=0&amp;single=true\">Michigan <em>FIRST<\/em> LEGO League Challenge Team List<\/a> (updated daily), please review the above items for completion.<\/li>\n<li>Officially register all team members to your team:\n<ul>\n<li>Express Enrollment path: Refer to the \u2018FIRST Lead Coaches\u2019 part of the \u2018Express Enrollment Youth Registration\u2019 section of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/resource-library\/youth-registration-system\">FIRST HQ Youth Registration<\/a> website page.<\/li>\n<li>Traditional path: Refer to the \u2018Lead Coach\u2019 part of the \u2018FIRST Dashboard Youth Registration\u2019 section of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/resource-library\/youth-registration-system\">FIRST HQ Youth Registration<\/a> website page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2. Team Member Tasks (Parent\/Guardian)<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>All youth team members must be registered to the team through <em>FIRST<\/em> HQ.\n<ul>\n<li>Express Enrollment path: Parents\/guardians use the link or QR code provided by the Lead Coach. See <a href=\"https:\/\/help.firstinspires.org\/s\/article\/How-do-I-register-my-youth-with-Express-Enrollment?language=en_US\">How do I register my youth with Express Enrollment?<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Traditional path: Parents\/guardians register youth through their <em>FIRST<\/em> Dashboard. See the \u2018Parents \/ Guardians\u2019 part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/resource-library\/youth-registration-system\">FIRST HQ Youth Registration<\/a> website page.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>As part of registration, the parent\/guardian of each team member under 18 electronically signs the <em>FIRST<\/em> HQ Consent\/Release form. This is completed once per season.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Note:<\/strong> Teams with 3rd grade members cannot use the standard Dashboard process for those students. Please contact <a href=\"mailto:jessica@firstinmichigan.org\">jessica@firstinmichigan.org<\/a> for alternate instructions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>3. <em>FIRST<\/em> in Michigan Required Task: Team Roster<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Due:<\/strong> Monday of event week.<\/li>\n<li>A coach emails the official team roster, downloaded from the <em>FIRST<\/em> Team Dashboard, to the Event Coordinator. Your Event Coordinator will share submission details before the event.<\/li>\n<li>Every participating team member must appear on the roster with a \u201cgreen light\u201d showing a signed HQ Consent\/Release form.<\/li>\n<li>The roster is required for the qualifying event and again if the team advances to the State Championship. It is used for event check-in.<\/li>\n<li><strong>How to print the roster:<\/strong> Sign in to your <em>FIRST<\/em> Account at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/\">firstinspires.org<\/a>, open the Team Dashboard, and under Team Contacts\/Roster, click \u201cPrint Roster.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Questions?
