MDE FIRST Robotics State Grant deadline Nov. 8<\/div>\n

MI DEPT. OF EDUCATION STATE GRANT<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n

Please check that your team has been included on your district’s MDE FIRST Robotics State Grant Application. This sheet will be updated later today as well as twice tomorrow (morning and afternoon):\u00a0MDE Grant Application Status as of 11\/07<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It’s not enough to be marked ‘in process.” By midnight on Thursday, your district’s application\u00a0must be “submitted”.\u00a0<\/span>The MDE is super strict on everything this year so be sure to get your grant in on time. The cutoff date is the cutoff date!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Teams must be registered for the 2018-2019 season in order to be considered for the grant award i.e. the $275 FIRST FTC season registration fee is paid.|<\/b><\/p>\n

There are two required attachments: the spending plan and the team roster. The roster must be attached but can be modified later.\u00a0 Both can be found on\u00a0http:\/\/www.techplan.org\/rdi\/first-robotics\/<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The\u00a0GRANTS<\/a>\u00a0page of the FIRST in Michigan website (right sidebar) also has the MDE applicant list as well as the\u00a0Step By Step Guide<\/a>\u00a0which outlines the procedures for applying for this grant including all required information and documentation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
