The grant application must be submitted <b>before 12pm noon on February 9, 2026.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The grant is administered by the Michigan Dept. of Education (MDE) and not FIRST in Michigan.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Any MDE recognized public or non-public school\/district may apply for the grant on behalf of all the FIRST teams in their school\/district. This includes public charters, academies, and ISD&#8217;s (with some stipulations on ISD offerings).<\/li>\n<li><b>Teams must be registered<\/b>\u00a0<b>for the 2025-26 season<\/b> <b>before<\/b>\u00a0<b>February 9th<\/b> to be considered for the grant ($325 FIRST HQ reg fee paid).<\/li>\n<li>Participating in a\u00a0<b>Fall or Spring<\/b> (mid-May) FiM FTC event satisfies the competition requirement for the grant.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>99h FTC grant award maximum amounts:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Rookie Team: Up to $2,200 team support<\/li>\n<li>Veteran Team: Up to $1,500 team support<\/li>\n<li>Coach stipend: Up to $1,500 (cap of one stipend per building across programs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<h6><strong>GRANT RESOURCES &#8211; Please share with your Level 5.<\/strong><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><strong>General information:<\/strong><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The 99h state grant application is available through the <b>MI Dept. of Education&#8217;s NexSys grant system<\/b>. The application name is: 99h- Robotics Competition Grant.<\/li>\n<li>\n<div>The application is accessible by the district&#8217;s\/school&#8217;s Level 5 person. The information is reported at the building level.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BUILDING PAGES: One building per page\n<ul>\n<li>A single building on top (this is for the stipend, since it\u2019s limited to $1,500 per building.<\/li>\n<li>List of all teams housed within that building.<\/li>\n<li>Add an additional &#8220;page&#8221; for each additional building in the district that has teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0BUDGET PAGE includes all of the teams from all buildings.\n<ul>\n<li>Enter only one line on the budget for each building for stipend award.<\/li>\n<li>Enter only one line on the budget for each team\u2019s support award<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Sponsor information is no longer captured on the application. It is still a requirement of the grant, per legislation, that applicants establish a partnership with at least one sponsor.\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<li><em>Applying ISDs, LEAs, and Nonpubs must establish a partnership with at least one sponsor.
