FTC SEASON KICKOFF EVENTS<\/strong><\/h5>\n
The 2021-2022 FTC season will officially kick off on Saturday, Sept. 18 with the reveal of the FREIGHT FRENZY game!<\/div>\n
Local FTC Kickoff Events<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Join your local FIRST Tech Challenge community at one of our many FTC Kickoff Events being hosted around the state. Thank you to our amazing kickoff hosts for sharing their time, knowledge, and resources in support of our teams!! These events are free and are open to both registered teams and those that are in the process of registering for the 2021-2022 season.<\/p>\n

While attending a kickoff event is optional, these events offer various workshops, training sessions, and all will feature a \u201creveal\u201d of the FREIGHT FRENZY official playing field! Most events have sign-up forms linked to the\u00a0EVENTS<\/a> site page. Please use those forms to connect to your chosen kickoff event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Safety at Events<\/strong><\/h6>\n
Note that all events this season, kickoff and competitions, will be adhering to their local area governance regarding COVID-19 safety protocols such as temperature checks, PPE usage, and gathering size constraints as applicable. Respecting and observing these additional event safety protocols will allow us to come together and is in line with our usual safety protocols of wearing ANSI certified safety glasses and closed-toe shoes, requiring safe usage and handling of tools and equipment, and even yelling “ROBOT” when moving robots through crowded halls at events. We do these things to keep ourselves and others safe. It is Gracious Professionalism in its truest form.<\/div>\n
FIRST FTC Kickoff Broadcast<\/b><\/h6>\n<\/div>\n

FIRST FTC HQ will air the FTC Kickoff broadcast via FIRSTtv\u00a0https:\/\/www.twitch.tv\/firstinspires<\/a>\u00a0on September 18 at 12:00 pm. The game animation will occur roughly at the 12:35 pm mark of the broadcast.\u00a0Game materials including the game animation and Game Manual 2 will be posted on the FIRST site at\u00a0https:\/\/www.firstinspires.org\/resource-library\/ftc\/game-and-season-info<\/a> after the broadcast.<\/p>\n
