MDE GRANT IS OPEN UNTIL\u00a0NOON<\/span>\u00a0ON DECEMBER 2<\/b><\/div>\n

  1. The MDE grant (often referred to as the “State Grant”) is now open.\u00a0 You can find the application in NexSys under “99h”.\u00a0 Please alert the person in your district responsible for submitting the grant.\n

            OPT-OUT FOR KIT OF PARTS<\/b><\/div>\n
            I am trying to push FIRST to authorize late opt-outs, meaning for teams that missed the deadline but still want to opt-out of the Drive Base or Black Tote. No promises, but if this applies to your team, please quickly fill out this form which\u00a0MUST<\/b>\u00a0be completed by this Thursday at noon:<\/div>\n

            GRANTS FOR LOWER TEAMS<\/b><\/div>\n
            If you want to start new FTC or FLL Challenge teams, we have grants that make it FREE. FIRST\/FIRST in Michigan grants will cover your kit and registration, and then you can still apply for the\u00a0MDE grant. If your district has a free and reduced lunch rate above 50%, Google has an FTC grant that may give you an additional $1,000 in spending money!<\/div>\n
