EVERYBOT<\/b><\/p>\n

For those of you building Team 118’s Everybot,\u00a0 you can now find everything you need (all the build\u00a0instructions, CAD, and code, etc) here:

The Comets, Team 3357 from Forest Hills, are hoping to begin releasing their Everybot build videos on\u00a0our website<\/a>\u00a0this weekend, in this order:
\nChassis on Friday
\nHang Mechanism on Saturday
\nBall Intake on Sunday or Monday<\/p>\n

The Comets started creating the\u00a0videos just as soon as the CAD drawings were released (rather than waiting until the build instructions were released), so there may be some slight variations. You should find them extremely helpful!<\/p>\n

If you are looking for an inexpensive bandsaw to make metal cutting way\u00a0easier, The Comets recommend\u00a0Harbor Freight’s $350 combination vertical\/horizontal bandsaw.<\/a>\u00a0The website says it is due back in stock on Feb 10.<\/p>\n

Both\u00a0AndyMark<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0VEXPro<\/a>\u00a0have Everybot materials.<\/p>\n

Next week I will be sending out info on third events. Remember that a requirement of getting a third event spot is that you must have your two volunteers signed up to work your first two events. You can get started with that right away. Make sure they enter their team affiliation.<\/div>\n
