\nRequired at each event where a team member\/coach\/mentor is participating. Two versions for each person must be turned in at event check-in.<\/p>\n

FIRST HQ Consent and Release Form<\/a><\/strong>
\nElectronically signed through the individual’s FIRST TIMS Account. Team must be using the Team Dashboard produced roster as it indicates that the electronically signed form is on file with FIRST HQ.

SAFETY AT EVENTS<\/span>

<\/i>Mask Policy (Required)<\/div>
<\/p>\n

FIM FRC events will require that masks are worn by all persons while in the event venue for the duration of the event (including event set up and tear down). The addition of a mask requirement at our will allow the events to remain accessible to the greatest number of people, most importantly, our student team members, their coaches and mentors, and our volunteers.<\/p>\n

Respecting and observing this additional event safety protocol is in line with our usual safety protocols of wearing ANSI certified safety glasses and closed-toe shoes, safe usage and handling of tools and equipment, and even politely asking others to step out of the way when moving robots through crowded halls at events. We do these things to keep ourselves and each other safe. It is Gracious Professionalism in its truest form.<\/p>\n

<\/i>Safety Glasses Policy (Updated)<\/div>
<\/p>\n

FIM FRC events will no longer have \u201cloaner\u201d safety glasses available on site for teams<\/b>. As always, teams must bring their own safety glasses to the event, enough for each of their team members and mentors that are in attendance. Anyone without safety glasses will not be allowed to enter the pit or competition areas of the event. Events will have safety glasses for purchase at $10 each.<\/p>\n

FIRST in Michigan events strive to be accessible to team members and mentors with disabilities. For team members and mentors requiring accessibility accommodations outside of what the venue already provides, please fill out this form<\/a><\/strong> at least two weeks prior to whatever event(s) the team is attending. This information will be shared with the event staff. FIRST in Michigan will try to make the requested accommodations but cannot guarantee that all requested accommodations can be made.<\/p>\n
