NEW: FIRST IN MICHIGAN YOUTH ADVISORY COUNCIL
We are excited to announce the formation of FIRST in Michigan’s Youth Advisory Council. FIRST in Michigan is looking for 20 FRC students to represent the voices of our students. These students are expected to attend monthly online meetings to plan, promote, and participate in a variety of initiatives and events. Representatives may be expected to serve as representatives of FIM, be points of contact to other teams, and even attend FIRST/STEM based outreach events.

What: 2023 Grand Rapids Girls Robotics Competition
When: Saturday, Oct 7 (load-in starting 5pm, Oct 6)

FRC Teams!
This is a chance for young women to show off their robots and skills competing with your 2023 robot playing FIRST ChargedUp.
The robot drivers/operators, human player, technician and pit crew must be high school aged girls. This is a great opportunity recruit young women to your team, get the experience and confidence of driving the robot at an event, and have fun. If you don’t think your team will have enough girls to compete, we have a couple teams with more than enough girls that can augment your team.
There is a $250 fee to cover the costs of the competition. Teams can load in and practice after 5p on Friday 10/6. For additional information, please go to our website: https://girlsrobotics.org/ You can sign up on the website or HERE
Participating teams may nominate one young woman for the Outstanding Leadership Award. This year, we anticipate awarding at least three $500 scholarships to GRGRC participants. Details are at: https://girlsrobotics.org/deans-award/
